Great pick by Ted Thompson. He's not being "flashy", but drafting solid players. Jeremy Thompson had some injury concerns with a torn ACL in 2005 from a lot of teams, but looks to have overcome them. He's solid against the run with 11 tackles for loss as a senior. Also had 6 1/2 sacks as a senior, so can rush the QB as well, but not his strength, with a so-so first step off the line. He's got a nice frame at 6-5 264 lbs, and should be able to contribute right away for the Pack.
Thompson is considered a "Tweener" player by some teams. He could be moved the LB because of his lateral ability. This guy has a motor on him and just keeps going. He might not have the strength to bull-rush a Tackle, but can frustrate him with his constant pressure.
A solid pick for the Packers and will add some depth to the line and might be able to earn a spot in the rotation.
