The Packers finally add a TE with pick #91 in the 3rd round. Jermichael Finely, TE Texas is a tall body at 6-5 240 lbs. He'll have to bulk up from 240 lbs as a TE in the NFL. Finley, a third year Sophomore, is a raw talent, but has great hands and will go up and fight for the ball. He had 31 receptions for 372 yards and 3 TD's as a Redshirt Freshman in 2006 and 45 receptions for 575 yards and 2 TD's in 2007.
Finley is an adequate blocker and good route runner. Both are areas he'll need to improve at the next level. He does go up and fight for the ball and could have the best hands of any TE in the draft. He is a little raw playing only 2 years at Texas. He'll be great in two TE packages and can even be moved into the slot in motion. With some good coaching and adding a little bulk, Jermichael Finley will be a great TE at the next level and a great fit for the Green Bay Packers.
